White smoke comes out of the generator exhaust What could be the reason?

  • Cold Running: when the engine is running from cold, The fuel is not burn completly and this situation could be cause white smoke. When The engine warmsup, it is normal smoke will dissapear.
  • Combustion Problems: When the fuel can not burn comletely into the combustion chamber, may cuase the formation of White or gray smoke. This, may be due to over-injection of fuel or an unbalanced air-fuel mixture.
  • Cylinder Head or Gasket Problems: Cylinder head crack or gasket burning may cause coolant to leak into the combustion chamber. In this case, the combustion of the coolant creates white smoke. If the white smoke smelss like burnt sugar, generally this may cause coolant is burning.
  • Injector Problems: Fuel injector that are not working properly or leaking may cause White or gray smokeIn this case may repaired or replacement of the Injectors.
  • Using Wrong Fuel: Using wrong type or dirty fuel that may cause combustion problems therefore the formation White and gray smoke.
  • Turbocharge Problems: In turbocharged engines, the air-fuel mixture becoming unbalanced as a result of the turbocharger malfunction may cause white or grey smoke.
