Frequency or vibration number is a measure of how often and how many times an event is repeated in a unit of time (typically 1 second), mathematically speaking it is the inverse of the period with respect to multiplication.
It is denoted by "f" and expressed as f=1/T. Its unit is "herz". (T:Period.) Generators are generally produced as 50 Hz and 60 Hz. While the engine speed is 1500 RPM or 3000 RPM in 50 Hz generators, it is 1800 RPM or 3600 RPM in 60 Hz generators. For example, while 60 Hz products are preferred due to electrical infrastructures in countries such as Saudi Arabia and the United States, 50 Hz products are preferred in many countries of the world, including our country. Generator frequency selection may vary depending on the system and efficiency analysis to be used beyond these criteria.
Genpower Generators are system-friendly with alarming and stopping options at low and high frequencies, thanks to advanced technology control cards.
